OMOTENASHI reminds me of RIKYU-SHICHSOKU (利休七則).

It is a basic of OMOTENASHI.
Let’s learn it.

It has seven principles.

茶は服のよきように
炭は湯の沸くように
夏は涼しく、冬は暖かに
花は野にあるように
刻限は早めに
降らずとも雨の用意
相客に心せよ

茶は服のよきように (cha wa fuku no yoki yoni)

You will make matcha (green tea) in a moderate temperature and quantity that is easy for other people to drink. Let’s make Matcha with your soul. When you are making matcha, you must not forget other people.

For example:
When the host is making matcha, you must not forget the customer.
In the same way, when the customer is drinking the matcha that the host gave, they must thank him for making the delicious matcha.
